Terrific Tush Tuesday and Miscellaneous Stuff

December 9th, 2008

Well, yes, sure – he’s not showing his tush but hey, I can live with that.  I say Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Birthday all rolled into one ;)

I’m not going to write much today because I’m a bit under the weather.  I need a Dr who makes house calls should there be one out there all ready, willing, able, and submissive ;)

There are a couple of things I did want to mention.  The activity in the comments section here has really been busy lately and much of what is said there is quite interesting.  I’ve added a feature to my blog that allows you to sign up for email notifications of post comments in case you want to easily follow them.  This feature will work even if you haven’t left a comment.   Click on the post title and then scroll to the bottom of the page to find the signup box.

Additionally, I’ve decided that I will publish anonymous comments.  The blog software doesn’t allow for that so in the spot where you sign your name – make up one.  In the spot for an email address you may put in someone@ladyjulia.net.  This will allow the comment to pass on through for approval by me.

Hmm… what else?

I know, I’ll end with a little humor.

Thanks, Pete M. :)

    Speaking of Doctors?
The first photograph nearly gave me a heart attack.
    How lovely are women.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    best wishes

I don’t get the video about the vacuum cleaner. It was a really good vacuum cleaner, right? The woman looks so neat and clean, too. Is this somehow meant to imply that she secretly wants to have a dirty house? I’m feeling so confused.

Okay, I have to say, that video is one of the funniest I’ve seen in a long time. You could tell it was leading to a jewelry store after about 10 seconds, but it was entertaining anyway.

So, Lady Julia, would you say jewelry is timeless, then? When in doubt, buy a necklace? The female version of power tools? (When in doubt, buy a man a power tool. It doesn’t matter if he has one like it, they’re all just a little different.)

    Lady Julia,
Were I nearby, I’d make a house call and bring you some hot tea, honey, lemon, and whiskey. I’d mix a hot-toddy for you, fix a hot water bottle to warm your feet as you lie in bed, and play music for you until you fell asleep.

    Feel well soon.
    respectfully,
    willie

Is it too weird if I want those boots in the first picture on the guy wrapped in Christmas lights in the second picture? Hummm….just saying. Her ass is great, but his assets are better!! Feel better my lovely. ~~Dee

Oh my! I appreciate the “looK” as such. In fact, I would like to commerorate it in a picture. I preserved a shot of this indignant woman. It is priceless. The context does not allow it, so please ask me for an email if you are so inclined.

    Are you an artist, SP?

    Dee – I agree!

Willie, you’re far too sweet :) Thank you.

    Nigel, thank you my friend.

Arafin – your sense of humor is great as always.

FTW – “So, Lady Julia, would you say jewelry is timeless, then? When in doubt, buy a necklace? The female version of power tools? (When in doubt, buy a man a power tool. It doesn’t matter if he has one like it, they’re all just a little different.)”

I remember a line from Steel Magnolias – Clairee (Olympia Dukasis) remarked, “The only thing that separates us from animals is our ability to accessorize.” ;) One cannot have enough shoes or pieces of jewelry.

Some jewelry is timeless. I have some pieces that are over 100 years old (family things) that I adore. Giving jewelry isn’t necessarily timeless. It depends on the occasion and the giver. In our time together Rook gave me a number of beautiful pieces of jewelry, but he also gave me a wide variety of books (including a book of Byron’s poetry – my favorite poet), some lovely DVDs of movies he thought I’d like, a few toys (of the adult kind), a silk scarf from Scotland, etc. It’s more about knowing your Lady, isn’t it? He made the effort to know what I liked before he bought (or made) something. Two of my most favorite of his gifts were an erotic hypnosis MP3 he wrote and recorded for me and a story he wrote for me and about me right after we first me.

Still.. in a pinch.. jewelry is probably going to work ;) It doesn’t have to be expensive, just pretty.
