Lady Julia’s Entranced Realm

I’ve ranted quite a bit the last couple of days and while I needed to stand up for something I consider very wrong, I know that there are better things to focus on.   My friend John reminded me yesterday about the bag man at Tiananmen Square.  I remembered that yesterday was the 20th anniversary of that horrible day, but somehow the magnitude of the bag man’s bravery had slipped my mind until I saw this:

Yes, there are horrible people out there – people who don’t care how much they hurt others. There are also the quiet heroes – the ones who stand up for the right thing no matter what the cost. Those are the actions that truly matter. Those are the people who deserve the most attention.

Another week has passed and we missed having our hypnosis party because things kept getting in the way. One of my friends from the book store called just a few minutes ago and asked about rescheduling. He remarked that they’ve talked so much about it that they’re all really excited about a demonstration. After encountering so many negative thoughts about the subject from people around here, I was really happy. Now I just have to decide what to do with them since something simple will probably seem like a let down :)

Bill went through a phase where he wasn’t as interested in anything hypnosis related, but lately he’s been open to the idea. We’ve done several sessions recently and they seem to be helping him sleep better. It’s been a while since I’ve done anything hypno-mischievous with Bill, so I foresee doing something a wee bit playful with him in the very near future. Suggestions? ;)

I’ve also been thinking about doing another Red Ribbon type of experience in TCOD. It’s been several months so I think it’s time. If you’re interested and you’re not a member of that group, then now’s the time to join :)
