About My Post From Yesterday

I’d like to make it clear that I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with a man sharing his needs with his partner.   I’m merely suggesting he might wish to consider how he approaches the situation and that he makes certain to consider her feelings as well.

(I added this note to the original post as apparently I did not make myself clear.  I wanted to make a separate post to make certain my comment was noted by those who had already read yesterday’s entry.)

It is the polarity of cultures, which amazes me.

There is a “saying” in the Middle-East suggesting that a man should beat his wife every morning because if he doesn’t know what its for; she does! (smiles)

I would suggest that Middle Eastern men who say such things think it’s funny and they think it’s funny because they are scared. Scared of what? Scared of women. I have spent a great deal of my adult life in the company of Third World men and I can say without hesitation that the misogyny built so deep into their culture is the direct result of fear. Why are they so scared? It’s the reason most people are scared of anything. They don’t understand it. When a boy is taught that women are inferior they are not very likely to investigate what women think and feel as they grow up. It is a very sad fact that today, in 2009, the so called Western World is more the exception than the norm for women’s rights, the remaining three quarters of men in the world thinking it’s OK to beat women. Not very good karma you idiots are making for yourselves, I must say. Oh well, what goes around comes around.

The thing is, there aren’t that many dominant women (or vanilla women for that matter) who write about this lifestyle. So to my way of thinking, we sub men would be wise to pay attention and seriously consider what you say.
