Lady GaGa - Strapon ( Strap-on)

No, I don’t mean Lady GaGa or this cover featuring her sporting a strapon.  I am referring to the vast amount of truly venonmous comments I’ve heard and read about this talented lady.  Ok, sure, her music might not be everyone’s preferred style, but I can’t help wondering why the hate?

At any rate, fan or not, I thought some of you might enjoy the image.

As you no doubt noted from your other posts recently, people don’t like it when you do things your own way. I don’t care for her style, but there is no denying her talent. It is a shame that people have to hate. She is just a singer. If you don’t like her style don’t buy her music. It is not worth getting so worked up about.

I believe some people hate her because she’s different, successful, and they can’t be like her. There are some people who won’t like anyone who has achieved their dreams or who is better at something than they are.

It’s similar to what happens here with you. There’s no reason to hate you. You always qualify your remarks as something that works for you. You don’t tell other people they have to conform to your ways. You are kind.

I also think you disturb the fantasy for some people. They fantasize that all Dommes are X and you are nothing like that. They can’t see that for many people you are better than X.

Whatever the criticism, Lady GaGa must be laughing all the way to the bank.

I adore Lady Gaga. Her style’s not for everyone, but she’s worked hard to be where she is. She writes and composes much of her own music, designs many of her own costumes, and spent years paying her dues in the New York club scene. And I just love her music.

The haters can hate on. I think most major artists are subject to that, especially if they’re too cool or innovative. But Lady Gaga will be fine. It certainly hasn’t hindered Madonna.

Maybe they are all a gah, gah!

I think Lady Gaga is a very talented girl. I also think that deep down she is shy about her inner most self. I saw her on Friday Night with Jonathan Roth last week. It was a very interesting interview. She is a paradox in that she is very outward – in her dress and performance, yet very inward – in her personality, which shows by her admitted lack of friends and some what self outcast status among her show business peers.

Love the girl-the music and that super hot body.

What a great job she has done turning herself into the phenomena of the day.

Love your site, by the way.

i’m glad to see this post. not only is it a gorgeous picture of the Lady but i’m delighted that you appreciate her. i think some people have never looked past the surface and so don’t know there’s anything there…or they can’t appreciate what is there (non-musicians/non-artists and such, maybe)…and i think with other people it is certainly jealousy, as is so often the case when anybody talks trash about a beautiful and/or talented and/or otherwise obviously remarkable woman. some people seem to be completely incapable of admiration.

    huh. guess *they’ll* never be subs… :D

you’re wonderful. i love your blog. thank you. <3
