Lady Julia, Why Don’t You Respond To My Emails?
Why don’t you write back to me? I see you are on your computer because I see new posts. I need answers to my questions please!!!!
You would be amazed at the number of emails I receive each day. Because my online time is limited (and some days is almost non-existent), I respond to my friends first and then respond to as many others as my time permits. Sending five emails in two days all pestering me about not answering is a sure way to be ignored. Most people understand that I am not some beck and call girl, but some expect far too much. I do what I do for me (excluding what I do for and with my friends – that’s a totally different dynamic). When my activities benefit people I don’t know that’s great, but it’s not something I owe anyone and I shouldn’t have to point that out. Your question is one that is asked frequently. Since being nice about it wasn’t working, I decided it was time to be direct.
As for the publication of my posts being an indicator that I am online, you’re wrong. Wordpress allows for the scheduling of posts. Sometimes I write things on Friday for Tuesday (as an example).
Be reasonable, be respectful, and I will eventually answer.
