I haven’t been able to be online much the past couple of days and may not be for the next few days. I’ve peeked at my inbox and there are a lot of interesting emails there, including some new stories for Femdom Fantasies. I’ll post those and reply to my emails as soon as possible.

“Why don’t you post more content on your blog and fewer pictures? If I want to look at porn I can do it somewhere else.”
I wouldn’t bother to answer this but the content aspect of the question has been asked of me a number of times.
First, I post porn here? We certainly have different definitions if you really believe that is true.
Second, why don’t I post more content? Hmm, well primarily because I have a life. I’m a very busy person who has a chronic illness, so some days it’s all I can do to finish the things I *have* to finish. Additionally I have several different blogs divided by topics. I typically post at least one “content” entry a day, they’re just not all in this spot.

Being treated as if he cares, having him do little things for me, tenderness. (Sorry, that’s not one thing, but it’s all tied in together). I know that isn’t what you probably expected, but I think a lot of women have similar feelings.

This week I’ve noticed a few more bloggers who have said farewell to the blogosphere. A couple were not leaving in frustration – it’s just that after several years of blogging, what else is there to say?
I feel that way sometimes. Often I think, “I know I’ve talked about this a few times already over the years.” In fact, I know I’ve talked about this very topic at least one other time :) I consider stopping, or at least, stopping for awhile. I don’t want to be bored and I don’t want my readers to be bored.
Part of my “what’s new that I can talk about” problem is the hesitancy to post about the more intimate things in my life. I can talk about fun and sexy things or controversial things, but there’s something truly difficult about sharing the private things because, well, they’re private. Some people seem to have no qualms about posting anything at all – which is great – but I choose not to because for me it sort of takes away from the specialness of it all. Plus, I respect the privacy of others.
So, I don’t know. Maybe I should become a sporadic blogger. Maybe I should just stop altogether. Maybe I’ll post four blog posts tomorrow because by then this mood will have passed. It’s still mostly fun at the moment so I suppose I’ll continue on. Who knows.

I would miss your wisdom if you left, but I am sure you will do what is best.
I went through a period of decision when I realized that I may have run out of the material that was the basis of my blog. It was not a matter of no longer being interested. There were so many new blogs coming up and providing enticing and juicy material that I felt I could not take the time or effort to stay even. I wrote about it at the time at http://hersforever.blogspot.com/2009/03/my-interest-in-blogging-about-flr-is.html.
I decided to keep the blog for the time being, and I have expanded my coverage to other subjects. I still address FLR occasionally, but seldom from my current experience. I feel better about keeping some issues private, so I talk more about less specific issues. It has been a pleasure to read your material.

Just so you know, I LOVE your pictures! As a matter of fact, when I click on other blogs I’m disappointed when there are no pictures! You find the best ones, the most erotic without always being so blatantly sexual. (not that being blatantly sexual is a bad thing. ; ) So keep ‘em coming!

Lady Julia – Please don’t stop, especially with the pictures. Yours are wonderful and cast a spell without a word being written. When You feel like posting, post. If there’s a dry spell, so be it. i totally identify with the busy life part. i love people who can post often, especially when it’s good. i post when i can, and those who can read it, will.
Life first, then blog. That can be the motto.
I think you should do what makes you happy and what you feel like doing. Blog when, if and what you want. We will all be here to read whatever you desire to share with us. Your enjoyment of what you are doing is the biggest reason to blog, and our enjoyment of what you have to say is a wonderful side effect. :)
