I served in the US Navy for 4 yrs in the days of Vietnam and Prague Spring. Each veteran's day, I hear endless speeches that do nothing but encourage the continuation of the patriot's game, and each year I watch the young men fall in line with the sweet smell of duty and honor emanating from their young man bodies. Your spare tribute means more to me than all those thousands of words Lady Julia, thanks for your simple, eloquent remembrance.
