And for that matter – heat! Yes, finally we have heat and power in the frozen tundra (I know I live in the south but hey, parts of the south have looked like St Nickland for a week or so.)
I wanted to say a quick hi and let everyone know we’re ok. I had a bit of an accident today so I’m off to bed early, but I’ll be back to writing soon. (I’m fine, just sore.)

Well, ho, ho, ho, it’s back to the world you go. I’m glad that you can now be as warm again on the outside as you always are on the inside. Sorry to hear about your accident, though. May you recover quickly.
So good to see you back! :)

Susan told me you had ice storms and I am glad they have abatted.
The tree’s look cool too.
Strange how down here we are on heat and bush-fire alert.
American houses look different as well, which has given me a post idea!!
Best wishes.
I love your pictures.
Glad to see you back! I hope your recovery is as swift as possible.
So happy to know the lights and heat are back on. Be careful walking on that ice, it’s not at all like mint julips on the veranda. ;)
Geee… that all looked perfectly normal to me until I realized most of it was ice.
Hope the bruises and related pains pass quickly…
Huh… looks like Nebraska. Well, except that it’s 60 degrees and turning into a swamp as all our snow and ice melts. Go figure.
It’s so good to hear from you, very sorry to hear about the accident, though. Hoping for a quick recovery!
Tag…you are it! Get sexy with me?

Such extremes. We have just endured two weeks of above 40degC (104degF) temperatures.
Now the devastating fires that have left a trail of homes and hopes turned to ash.
Hope you are better after you accident. You do need to take care :) Hugs
Lady Julia,
I’m very glad to read you are okay, and resting with warmth.
Your photos are beautiful, and that house is awesome.
respecfully,

Lovely pictures, Julia.
Glad you are warm and safe (even if a little banged up). Enjoy it. Heal!
