The two are different, very different.

Making love is so much more multi-dimensional, much more involving, much more satisfying overall. I glow afterward. I have hallucinogenic dreams (really!). And cuddling with her makes it something that lasts all night.

On the other hand: masturbation is something I can do when I want, as often as I like, without her having to be in the mood, without her being present. It is focused, quick, and intense altered state, that feels wonderful, and usually leaves me better able to concentrate.

If I have a choice, there is no question — making love with her trumps everything. But often I don’t have that choice, so I pleassure myself.

I think far fewer men get sex than want it. That’s why the internet has been a godsend for its unlimited porn, free phone sex and cybersex. I think many more women don’t want sex. It isn’t as important to a lot of women.

Oh sucks! I don’t consider masturbation sex unless that is all you have ever had in your life. This “interntet” thingie, I could drop it in a second for just a look or a sniff at a woman of character.

Evolution will weed out the internet geeks, and allow the knuckle-draggers to inherit the future. I will go with lengthening my arms as soon as I get off this computer.

hmmm, sex with another person is more emotionally satisfying, but with masturbation I know exactly how to do it and I am patient enough that I generally release more intensely. Some might say I need to communicate better with my partner, but then no matter what, I can wait just as long as I need to, and make it happen at just the right moment. So, sex is definitely more fulfilling emotionally for me, but if I really want to get off, most of the time masturbation is better for the pure intensity of the release.
